i-Learning is the leading ICT-based educational product in Malaysia and it has helped many students to excel in the national UPSR, PT3 and SPM examinations. The product was first launched back in 1999 as an output learning programme also known as Score A.
In 2010, Score A has joined with i-Learning products developed by Prof Dr Hanafi Atan from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and marketed under the brand i-Learning. These products provide input learning (learning materials and activities) and output learning (activities of empowering and preparation for the exam) which uses the latest ICT technology. ScoreA iteacher was launched back in 1999 and since then it has underwent many enhancements in terms of the features in line with the rapid changes and advancement of technologies as well as content revision to conform with the syllabus set forth by the Ministry of Education. DEVELOPED BY EXPERTS
i-Learning is the only ICT-based educational product that is developed by the educational expert. Unlike other products, which were developed on ad-hoc basis, the development of i-Learning is spearheaded by Prof Dr Hanafi Atan of Universiti Sains Malaysia and developed in systematic way following the standard and accepted instructional design principles.
Prof Dr Hanafi is a professor in e-learning and has contributed his expertise not only in USM but also at national level. He is currently the chairman of the e-learning council of Malaysian public universities e-learning coordinator for 2014-2016.
i-Learning has excellent track records and enormous testimonies from students who have excelled in their UPSR, PMR, PT3, and SMP examination especially those who have scored straight ‘As’.
The learning materials and activities made available within i-Learning complied with the syllabus set forth by Malaysian Ministry of Education. The system incorporated the learning materials and activities that conformed with the old KBSR dan KBSM syllabus. At the same time, the system also provide the learning materials and activities that conformed with the new Curriculum Standard Sekolah Rendah (KSSR) and Curriculum Standard Sekolah Menengah (KSSM) syllabus and these new syllabus are made available according to their years of implementation.
For Standard 1 – Standard 6, the learning materials and activities prepared are for students in Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) and Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Cina), SKJ(C). For Form 1 – Form 5, the learning materials and activities are for students in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan (SMK). All syllabuses are compiled and set forth by Malaysian Ministry of Education.
The system also has the old KBSR and KBSM syllabus as well as the newly implemented KSSR and KSSM syllabus. Students have the opportunity to access learning materials and activities of both syllabuses.
For the teaching of Science and Mathematics, PPSMI as well MBMMBI syllabus are both incorporated in the system
